hi guys,

back in the good ol' days of quickstabbing i played spy the whole time.
after that it went downhill: competive play drowned me with tasks and the so called "buffs" where not favorable for me.
but here i am applying for another elite spy team (im also in the ESG) because i still like to play spy on pubs.
(fast edit: i am 190 hours away from 200 on my stats page, but i reset twice. once when i had 172 hours as spy, and another when spy was second played and solly was at the top with at least 50... if this isn't sufficiant i regret that D:)

i mostly play with the Dead Ringer and switch back and forth the revolver/ambassador...
i also use the C&D early on in matches (payload that is) or when i think its really usefull (not alot).

well thats the introduction i think.

now for the "legal stuff"
stats: http://steamcommunity.com/id/tjubutsi/stats/TF2
demo: attached (i think) i just made this one quick didn't even do a warm up :/. ill make more if needed :).

i think i forgot something... ah yes, i agree to uphold the ethos of E² :)

edit: i already have a far better demo to upload but it won't for some reason :/

I can vouch for this guy. Played with him on several occasions, every time he played spy the opposing team got VERY paranoid very quickly :P
It's a shame you don't have the hours on your steam page, skyweb. It'd be great to see you in the group though, if Hurri accepts you after looking at your .dem

Trust him though Hurri, he isn't lying!

Hi, thanks for the application. I'll aim to review this demo within 24 hours. Best of luck :).

Hi there, thanks for the application. Unfortunately this time it wasn't successful, just for a couple of reasons:

Firstly, whilst I'm sure you do have the hours, I need something to back up the claim (obviously we've got to hold to our own rules).

Secondly, the demo didn't really inspire me if I'm honest. I do look for entertaining demos, and it didn't do anything for me really. A couple of frustrations:
- disguises were too repetitive, too much generic pyro. You did vary it a bit towards the end.
- Seemed a bit weird watching you revolvering, shoot, pause, reload, shoot, pause, reload. The auto reload option now should just allow continuous firing. I don't use auto-reload myself, but I just tested it and firing rate should be the same.
- i think you spent too much time trying to troll the enemy near their spawn rather than doing the objective; like near the end, 10 secs to go, cart near the end, yet you were at their spawn. I'd be all over the cart, stopping them attacking. Luckily the enemy were appalling.
- just wasn't aggressive enough for me.
- some strange use of DR; like when the demo spawn camped, DR activated, then you went back into spawn to recharge the DR, why not just run behind him (a distance), decloak around the corner, then backstab him? If he was still there (luckily he wasn't), you could have been there forever with that tactic!

Don't be put off, you're solid, but I just want to see a bit more from our members. I'm sure you can reach that, if you address the points I give above and get a bit more time under your belt (maybe play on some servers with less noobs though ;p).

Best of luck

thanks for the critisism.
i kinda knew this demo was worthless lol.
also i want to reply to your points...
i just quickly press the keys to disguise, dont really think about it...
i turned of autoreload for spy now works much better.
maybe that one is true D:
wasn't my best shot :P
just distracting him for my teammates D: thought i was selfsacrificing enough

ill just make another demo and try to pay attention to your points tho :)
